Vägiheina (Vägihein)
Mullein, Verbascum spp., aka Adam’s flannel (name comes from Anglo-French moleine, related to mod. French mol, mou, for soft), Aaron’s rod, shepherd’s club, & hag-taper (black mullein), member of the figwort family. Oops: not in Tallinn... Starts 80 m away, in Maardu...
Kalma (Kalma)
A popular abbreviation of Kalamaja. Street also named for its proximity to the well-known Kalma Saun in Vana-Kalamaja. Name chosen with blatant disregard for Finnish visitors to the city, see Kalmistu.

It's a massive, 1300+ garage zone of just under 8 ha (78,000 m², or 19.36 acres) and uncertain legal status, existing presumably under the principle that ‘possession is 9/10ths of the law’. Although they are garages, they're used more as lock-ups, workshops, personal escape rooms than places to park your car. You do, however, need a car to get there...
Rickemakeri (Rickemaker)
After the Rickemacker (Rikemacher, 1647) farm / estate some halfway between lake Harku and Kõrgepea nukk first mentioned in 1371, but not found in any street database despite being shown NW and parallel to Kadaka tee on Google maps. Rather unusual name: ‘kingdom’-maker, etc. (cf. Reich) sounds a bit over the top, as do ‘rich-’, ‘prosperous-’ or ‘famous-’… Given its very old age, it could be a Viking-type byname highlighting the original bearer’s generosity (for example). Location slated for development?...
