Names
Liivaranna (Liivarand)
Sandy beach, sandy shore. Bordering the Kakumäe laht (bay).
Lilleküla (Lilleküla)
Flower village, a Sub-district inhabited, oddly, more by bird street-names, but some flowers and random volatile spare parts too. With 50+ streets, this is almost certainly the largest street-name zone in Tallinn, covering the Sub-districts of Lilleküla, Mooni and parts of Tondi.
Lillepi (?)
Park laid out on former poolmõis or perhaps karjamõis (see Mõisa) of that name, recorded as Lillupi (1874), Lellepe (?) and Lylli perre (1689), where the -pi ending just seems to be a shortening or -pere. Poss. related to Lillevere (Lillæuæræ, 1241) but origin unsure.
