Names
Kesk-Luha (Kesk-Luha)
Mid-Luha (qv), about which there seems not much to say... other than mildly rant about Estonia’s perception of what a ‘street’ actually is… See About the Dictionary.
Kesk-Sõjamäe (Kesk-Sõjamägi)
Connecting-road perpendicular to and between Suur-Sõjamäe and Väike-Sõjamäe. For details, see main article Sõjamäe.
Keskküla (Keskküla)
Mid-village, middle of the village, village centre... Also name of (now) ruined manor house in Läänemaa county. Former farm name.
Kesklinn (0)
Town center. One of Tallinn’s 8 Districts (Linnaosad). It includes the following Asumid (Sub-districts): Aegna, Juhkentali, Kadriorg, Kassisaba, Keldrimäe, Kitseküla, Kompassi, Luite, Maakri, Mõigu, Raua, Sadama, Sibulaküla, Südalinn, Tatari, Torupilli, Tõnismäe, Uus Maailm, Vanalinn, Veerenni and Ülemistejärve.
Kesktee (Kesktee)
The kuldne kesktee is the golden mean, but this one, passing through the center of Merivälja, is slightly more concrete, so a happy medium would be somewhere between ‘middle road’ or ‘high street’... Only street in Tallinn where tee is embedded into the name and not separate (Pilvetee would not count anyway!).
Keskturg (0)
Lit. Central market. Market in the Sub-district of Keldrimäe, created in 1947. Not sure whether they sell sarsparilla. Colorful!
