Tuudi (Tuut?)

Meaning uncertain. Possibly a crop, perhaps related to tuudik, a dialect term for Taime, plant or vegetable, in Rõuge, Võru. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the -ik ending in plants seems to indicate ‘apparency’, where the object of appelation looks like it could be one of its namesakes. Alternatively, if the nominative tuut, it would then seem to be a smaller version of vannasader, or primitive wooden plough. Street next to Saadu, and recent addition to the mini hay-related group, so neither solution is that far-fetched. See Vaalu.
