Kotlepi (Kotlep)

From the German, Gottfried, with multiple spellings (Kottvriid, Kottart, Kotolt, etc.). Name of former local farm/farming-family. Farm group. Although judging by its German name, the ‘farm’ may well have been a poolmõis, see Mõisa. See also Kristeni.
