Kivinuka (Kivinukk)
Stone/Stony corner (or paddock, see Tuulenurga) or, why not, ‘nook’, next to wood of same name, with another now defunct street of the same name by a former poolmõis (see Mõisa) first recorded as Ges. Kiwwiauk (1798, lit. ‘stone hole’) and thence to Ges. Kiwwinuk (1871, lit. ‘stone corner’), apparently, after a local kurisu, or karst gorge, cleft or clough.
