Rumors have it that Jüriöö was once chosen for a street-name, but local enterprise complained about letters with accents making it hard for people to enter the address into their satnavs… (NB: both Google maps and Waze recognize Jurioo as Jüriöö, while Xgis does not recognize Jurioo) reminding me of a tale oft told of an Estonian gentleman roaming the Russian roads of romance and relieving his mistresses of both modesty and money by failing to appear at church. His name, which nobody could spell, was Õueaiaäär, making it impossible for the police to locate or arrest him!
