Pihlamarja (Pihlamari)
Alternative name for pihlakamari, the rowanberry, 3 of which are native to Estonia: harilik pihlakas, aka pihelgas, pihlak, pihl, pihlapuu and probably others, Sorbus aucuparia, rowan or mountain-ash; tuhkpihlakas (some confusion as to Latin name: S. rupicola or S. aria, aka Aria nivea), rock whitebeam; and the titterlicious pooppuu (the first part, poop, does not seem to occur elsewhere in Estonian and is thought to derive from either Low German boke or Swedish bok, for beech, and puu will tell you more so get your mind out of the gutter and go wash your mouth out with soap), S. intermedia, the Swedish whitebeam. Group of berry streets near the Liivakalmistu (cemetery). See Pohla.
