Laagna (Laagna) Symbol designating a Tallinn "Asum", or Sub-district.

Named for another, older, appellation of Lasnamäe, as used in Canto II or the Second Tale of Kalevipoeg referring to Linda’s tears mis kui Ülemiste järve (as Ülemiste Lake) Laagna mäe peal laenetamas (shimmering on Lasnamägi). Also small town close to Narva on the Russian border. Initially named as Oktoobri prospekt (1977-1985), followed by Oktoobri tee (1986-1992) after which it acquired its present name. The Sub-district itself is understandably quite Kalevifiliphilic, featuring streets such as Kalevipoja itself, as well as Lindakivi, Saarepiiga and others.
