Kallaku (Kallak)
Incline, slope, rake (of a theatre, i.e. the floor, not the lady-killer). Defunct name of two former streets: Kruusa under the first Soviet occupation of 1940-1941; and Piiskopi during the next occupation of 1948-1989.
Website under construction, many entries missing, no photos with the streets, layout not finalized...
This started with a book (last few pages under review) and only 486 of the 1855 articles, A to J and part through K, entered so far, so many links going nowhere.
I've heard that a company that uses its owner's name is more trustworthy because they've put themselves on the line.
This is me, in Tallinn this spring (2025), on a 3-month spree to check details, take photos (about 12K), explore (ave. 15K/day), and so on. I think I covered every streeet in Kesklinn (apart from Mõigu), most of Põhja-Tallinn and some Kristiine.
