Website under construction, many entries missing, no photos with the streets, layout not finalized...
This started with a book (last few pages under review) and only 486 of the 1855 articles, A to J and part through K, entered so far, so many links going nowhere.
I've heard that a company that uses its owner's name is more trustworthy because they've put themselves on the line.
This is me, in Tallinn this spring (2025), on a 3-month spree to check details, take photos (about 12K), explore (ave. 15K/day), and so on. I think I covered every streeet in Kesklinn (apart from Mõigu), most of Põhja-Tallinn and some Kristiine.

Not intended at the beginning, the present website is taking on a life of its own, with plans for relevant discussion forums, picture galleries and, over time, more non-streetname entries.
In theory, it will be funded by advertising relevant to people in Tallinn, to be determined.
A percentage of profits (also to be determined) to be donated to the foundation.
Harju hill. Built on the former Inger kants, or Ingrian Bastion, known multiply or occasionally as Harjuvärava mägi (Harju Gate hill, 1921), горка Харьюмяги (Harju Hill hill), Schmiedepforten Anlage (Blacksmith’s Gate Bastion, 1907), Ingeri bastion (1989), russified as Ингерманландскій бастіонъ (1908) and, at one unspecified stage, as Горка у Новых ворот (±New Gate Hill). Now a public park. Right or wrong, name often interchangeable with 20. Augusti.
